This is a big backpack so be careful to consider what you'll be using it for. I use mine for work/commuting and I am able to carry a pair of runners, workout clothes, a lunch and a couple of books very easily. The laptop pocket is great for holding magazines/books if you don't carry a laptop around. Front and side pockets are good for keeping everything organized. One warning though - I bought the Paul Machnau black camo version and it's got skulls and crossbones on one of the pockets. I didn't notice this in the photos and probably wouldn't have bought it if I had. If you are older than a teenager and using it for commuting to work I think it looks out of place.
