DAKINE Camera Block - 800cu in - 2007
The well-padded DAKINE Camera Block with adjustable internal dividers carries your SLR camera body and up to five lenses. A panel-zip lets you access your entire kit at once, so you don't have to dig through a bunch of pockets for the right lens to nail that amazing shot. The clean, no-frills design lets the DAKINE Camera Block fit easily into a variety of backpacks, thus making it a great choice for use on backcountry photo shoots as well as for packing your gear around town.
Bottom Line: Load the DAKINE Camera Block full of your photo gear, then slip it into your backpack so you're prepared for a backcountry shoot.

nice bag but to big

I bought this to put into my dakine dual and ridge backpack, but didnt fit in the dual and barely in the ridge. It is a nice block, only one of its kind and has nice padding and holds its shape well. This thing is to large tho, i could fit my Nikon D50, Sony VX2000, 2 Lenses and some batteries and still had room left over. This can be good and bad, there was still room for my gear to move around inside the block even with the dividers due to the width of the block and it didnt fit in my my backpacks well, its larger than my Nikon bag. If it was half the size I would love it.

I do like what this is meant for, I do a lot of hiking as taking pictures is the reason why. I am yet to find the perfect setup, if this was just a little tinier then it might be perfect, along with some little pockets. I have this inside an 1800cu in. Dakine Blade pack and it leaves a some room for other items. But it is almost too big.
Will it work for a camera with a battery pack on it? I have a
Will it work for a camera with a battery pack on it? I have a D80 with the MB-D80 battery pack that I love and need a pack to hold it and a few lenses.

I was hoping to use this within my current overnight bag, however it's just too big at 800 cu in. If you just need a simple camera bag, then this will work, but realize there are no pockets for batteries, filters, etc. and there's just one shoulder strap.

It's a padded box with dividers, no pockets, and a shoulder strap. Great for what it is and the price, just don't expect much.

Perhaps the best value available in headlamps today. It's bright, the detachable battery pack is excellent for winter, and it doesn't break the bank.
