I have used this pack for everything, school, boarding, mountain biking, etc. Its been through it all. And I can't go anywhere without it. It holds more than I expected it would and has some sweet features. I would buy it 3 times over no regrets. Also, really works well for school and the weekend activities. Great pack. Have fun out there.

I absolutly love this pack with all my heart. You can proably read from the other reviews how awesome it is and how many pockets it has. But if anyone was to say anything about it it would have to be either the hydration sleeve or the diagonal ski carrier. The hydration sleeve makes it hard for the insertion of camel back water bags, but once you got it in no big deal. The thing that upset me would have to be the diagonal ski carrier. When Hiking crags at jackson the path hikes clockwise around the mountain making your skis face over your left shoulder right where trees are. Not going to be a porblem this year because i pry won't ski jackson again. Love the pack nothing better just a small concern.

This pack is a great pack for skiing. It fits everything you need, water, food, extra layers, goggles, and more. Despite the fact that it carries a ton, it really has a low profile and hugs your back. Unless you stuff it full of heavy stuff it really follows your body and doesn't throw your balance off when you are carving turns. It has several useful pockets for things like an extra water bottle, your phone, or your camera. Very thoughtful design and excellent construction.

I LOVE to ski, but I make my living as a fashion model in LA. Sounds lame when I say that...and well it is. But I will say I have had more Queens and Divas beg me to tell them where I got my Heli Pro Scotch Plaid pack! I just laugh and then cry a bit, because as we speak several "stylist" are running around Hollywood with a Heli Pro filled with makeup, blow dryers, curlers, etc. I am sure the ski carry loop holds a blow dryer perfectly. HAHAH anyways for me the thing rocks...it looks sweet, functions great, and fits amazing! Not a pack for overnight, but for Cat-skiing, or any lift served operation you will be set.

i use this backpack for school/skiing. I have done a lot of hiking with the skis on the back and it works awesome. They are easy to put in even with gloves on! I use it everyday of the week between school and skiing on on the weekends and it doesn't have a single tear or blemish. they only problem i have found is that it is hard to get a camel pack hose through the shoulder strap and it also freezes out on the hill. Overall it is very comfortable and the right size for holding a days worth of books or ski gear. Not to mention it looks saweeet!

the main reason why i love this pack is that i use it as a diaper bag for my little girl. which is kind of a drag because i want to use it for so much more. this bag has so many nooks and crannies that i can stash whatever i need, ipod, cellie, huggies, extra clothes... and i dont look like a super doofus carrying around a pink bag filled with burp cloths.
if my wife would let me... i'd ride with this baby too..

I'm not an expert about the subject, but for an all around pack that is geared toward snow sports, this one does the trick. The insulated water reservoir compartment does a good job of keeping your water from freezing, which can be a pain. The zippers are all heavy duty and seem like they can deal with a lot of wear and tear. All zippers are nice and big so you can grab a hold of them with gloves. The little pouch for a camera is also very handy. I recommend it.

This was my 'company pack' for all of last winter. It had more than enough room to hold everything I wanted it to for the mountain. The diagonal ski carrier was a bit unwieldy at first, but after a seson of using it I would much rather carry diagonal than teepee. Huge plus for the insulated drinking tube. If I hadn't been issued one of these then I probably would have bought one just like it.
