DAKINE Pro II Backpack - 1550cu in - 2005

The DAKINE Pro II 1550cu inch Backpack is an ideal companion for a backcountry trip whether you're riding two skinny planks or one wide one. Vertical snowboard and diagonal ski carry systems allow you to tear up the freshies with your ride of choice. The Pro II Backpack's main compartment easily holds food and clothes for a day of touring, and the quick-access avalanche gear pocket keeps the essentials at hand incase the unthinkable happens. DAKINE also equipped the Pro II with a hydration pocket and insulated sleeve to accept your favorite hydration system and keep your water from turning into ice.

Bottom Line: Load up the DAKINE Pro II Backpack and head into the backcountry for an all-day ride.

Pro II Backpack

By:
February 2, 2006

I have used three different packs for skiing and this is the by far best. My last backpack was the Dakine Vertex and the Pro II is a great improvement to that. The Pro II not only handles more volume but also provides more compartments. There are several more pockets, which are perfect if you have a lot of gear. For those of us that ski backcountry, there are separate pockets for your shovel blade, handle and your probe. For day trips this bag is perfect.

I am able to hold my shovel and my hydration system in this pack. I can also hold food and extra clothing. Great for backcountry trips with an easy-to-use ski carry system.

Outstanding pack for both cruising around local resorts or for day trips into the backcountry. Holds all essentials with no problems and the tool pockets make this pack the ultimate backcountry skier/boarders choice.

great product

I bought the Da Kine Heli pro, used it for everything for 2 years, over time, its color began to fade, and I had some major falls and spills on the mountains. I decided to upgrade, and I LOVE my Pro II. A great product for all around use, school, surf, snow, rain, and just plain needing a pack.

The pack is great. I use it for snowmobiling in the deep. The shovel is out of the way and you don't even know your wearing it.

Great Winter Pack

By:

I have taken this pack in the backcountry and on the chairlifts. It is super functional, practically sized and carries skis comfortably when necessary. It has great features for snowboards. Not as complicated as other packs and priced right.
