CW-X Stabilyx Tight - Women's
Training for that spring marathon and can't stand the thought of 13 miles on a treadmill? Grab the CW-X Stabilyx Tights and hit the road for a supportive, warm jaunt. The Stabilyx Tights offer targeted support to protect your lower back and core area so you can run strong the whole time. These running tights also integrate CW-X's Conditioning Web, designed to help muscles and ligaments bond together to stabilize the knee joint. Getting chilly from your sweat will no longer be an issue as CWX made these running tights with 80% Coolmax, which pulls moisture away from your skin to the outside of the tight. I used to wear the Expert Tight by CW-X, however this is a step up and well worth it! I get the same knee support I need, however they also give really good lower back support. They just feel great and I am so happy I found them!
Sigh, no good if you are between sizes

I originally purchased the small but it was quickly apparent that they were too small for me. So I sent them back and got a medium which appears to be the right width for my chunky thighs but they are too long (I'm 5'2") and I have to keep hiking them up to keep the knee area in the right place. So, they're ok but I wouldn't recommend them if you are between sizes. Might be okay if you are tall and slender and in between sizes (ending up with a too short pant) but not the other way around.
I am 5'1 and weigh about 120lbs. I am concerned about size.

I would definitely recommend getting S rather than XS. I'm 5'6" 110 lbs, definitely have a bit fat around stomach but not much. I went with a size small and it was a good fit, albeit just a tad tight at the waist, but not uncomfortable.

I bought 2 pairs of Stabilyx tights a month ago. I ordered one pair for man small, but I feel the compression was not what I required, I reordered small for woman and I find out it fit perfectly and bring all satisfaction to help me in my exercises. I had a serious accident which required serious surgery, an lot of pain in my legs specially in my tigh. Since I wear Stabilyx tights, I feel 50% less pain, more confortable and can do twice exercies that I was doing before. Help my blood circulation in my legs and by the same time keep all my body heat that provide a real release for all my butt, tigh, calves and great support for my knees. You want to get improvement, buy Stabilyx tights and if you need more informations, always somebody to answer your questions.

Help, after reading the reviews I am even more confused about which size to buy. I am a freak about trying things on before I buy, so this is hard for me. I am 5' 3", 125 lbs, which puts me into both the XS and S sizes. I don't want them to be so tight that they're uncomfortable, but I like things to be pretty snug, and since I'm wanting knee support I'm scared the small might be too long and not do their job properly. Anyone around my size with suggestions?

I have a few pairs of CW-X tights (which I love, by the way), and judging by your dimensions, you'd be much happier with the XS in my opinion. I fall in between sizes as well and I sized down. They won't be too tight on you to the point that they are uncomfortable.
There is a review below of someone buying the XS who is 5'2" 118 and said that they fit perfectly. Hope this helps!

I bought these tights, took them out of the package, and ran a half marathon! They really did help with fatigue! My legs felt great the whole run. I'm 5'2 and 118 pounds, ordered an extra small, they looked tiny coming out of the package but fit perfectly! They do stop short... above the ankle.
You'll never buy another brand!

I used to think Under Armour was good. It is. But these are much better...the best! They are comfortable, give great support, help your fatigued legs rest/heal and they're nice looking too! Buy two...you won't want to be without a clean pair at all times, if you're like me. These have been such a great help as I train for my first marathon. I wear the Pro shorts to run (it's still warm here) and then go home, soak my legs and put on the tights. Next morning after a 20 mile run, I'm feeling good and my legs are fully functional and not painful. I cannot recommend these enough. FYI...I also bought two pairs of the CW-X Stabilyx tights. Again, I love those just as much as the Pro tights. I use the Stabilyx for different things than the Pro tights. On cooler days, I run in the Pro tights. I tend to use the Stabilyx for recovering after a long run.

I just received my 3/4 length tights in XS and am really not sure about the size. They fit snugly as everyone says they should but they seem to cut in behind the knee and at the calf. I'm 5'0, 105lbs and petite build. Should I buy a size up or get the long tights? How do they hold up after washing?

They do seem to cut in a bit at the knee when you first try them on, but I have found that once you start running and sweating, they fit perfectly. If they fit everywhere else, I would stick with the smaller size, because they are compression pants and you will lose some of the benefits if they're too loose. If you're not comfortable, then I would try the full length tights (maybe in the ventilator version for warmer weather).

Superhero Pants!

Wearing these is like having springs in your legs--you will not want to stop. If there is a down side, you will no longer feel like a superhero when you take them off. I suffer from chronic joint pain and these really help, plus they look soooooo cool.

Best running tights I have ever owned.
I run early am in the cold now and dark. I can wear these down to about 33 degrees without another layer. With a wind pant cover they are good to about 20 degrees. Lower than that I use treadmill. Recommend them. I am also over 50 so my muscles like the support.

I've been wearing the Stabilyx tights for three years not and wouldn't run a marathon/half marathon without them. The support to the muscles is invaluable in distance running. Because I have knee problems having the Stabilyx has allowed me to continue running distance runs. I recommend them to my friends I have hooked on running as well.

Not if you wander around in just tights. If you're running, then yes, assuming you have the right clothes on top. - I highly recommend you check out the CW-X Insulator Tights they work great as a base layer in frigid weather.

I had an accident and I try all kind of tights to realease pain in my leg, but no one like CW-X Stabilyx to provide a great support and realease lot of pain.
If you never try it, it is time to get the confort you need and doctors prescribe it to as medical appliances.
Look superb and not being shy to work at the rehab center gym with these marvelous tight.

Oh Ladies you are going to love these stability compression tights. I am a Personal Trainer and athlete and I have never owned a pair of tights like these that are so supportive, comfortable and well made...I could wear them every day! I wasn't sure on the fit and talked to customer support. I am very slim-105lbs on a good day-and 5' 41/2"...I always fall in the borders of xs & sm. I am not petit in my proportions. Follow the chart-its right on! I bought both sizes and CLEARLY I am a sm. I didn't bother trying on the xs as I could see they were too short in length. If they came in more colors I would buy more! I so enjoy having these on in all my outdoor cardio activities-you will too.

The Stabilyx line offers one more feature than the Performx and that is an abdominal support panel for extra support to your lower abs, hips, and back. Hope this helps.

These tights are great for running. They seem to help stabilize my legs. The only down-side: They are a little short, so I end up with a gap between tight-leg and sock...

I'm 5'1, 118lbs. The sizing chart says I should get an XS, however my waist is borderline S/XS. If I get one size larger, will that affect the fit all that much?
By: sincha4122415013

I am 4'10" and about your same weight. I wear the XS. The S was a little big for me and I like my waist to fit up against my body. Honestly, the waist was where I noticed the most difference in the XS and S. I had to use the draw strings a lot more on then S than the XS. If in doubt, do what I did...order both sizes and see for yourself. Then send back the one that didn't fit and exchange it for the size that did. I think once you try these you will want 2 pairs...not just one!

A little expensive, but worth it. While they are snug, I should have gone with a small which is the recommended size for my weight. I let the reviews scare me into buying the next size up. I am going to buy a second pair and maybe a third.
I wear them all the time and will run my first 1/2 marathon in them next month.

Wow....I cannot rave enough about these tights. I am recovering from runner's knee from overuse for the past 4 weeks and have had to wear a knee sleeve on my power-walks; not anymore. I can feel the tights straightening my knee out when I put them on. I will put them to the test tomorrow, but so far, just trying them on was super for me. By the way, I am 5'1" and weight 151 lbs. and the "S" fit me perfect from top to bottom.

My back and knees have never felt better! I forget I even have them on until one of my teammates say "Hey great looking tights you got there". lol!

I definitely noticed a difference in the support in my lower back and knees. I have ACL and my knee feels really secure when running even on uneven terrain. Overall I felt less fatiqued after a long run. Now I have to get the insulator tights for the cold weather. I have run in these in 30 degree weather and they were warm enough but any colder I would want a warmer tight.
