Castelli Dome Due Bibshort - Men's

The Castelli Men's Dome Due Bibshort sets out for long Saturday morning rides with a comfortable four-way stretch, variable density padded chamois and a body hugging fit. Castelli's Affinity lycra keeps it shape all-ride long, and the soft-touch waistband and leg elastic won't irritate even at mile 45. Catelli hit the Dome Bibshort with a reflective logo and reflective detailing along the legs so you don't end up as road kill during evening rides.

Bottom Line: Comfort for the long haul.

Comfortable but mine was defective

What you've heard about the sizing is true; I wear a M in every other bib short but a L in these was just right. They run small. Other than that, they're very comfortable and the chamois is great. Unfortunately, on my very first ride with them, the stitching between the chamois and the shorts came almost completely undone. I must have a defective pair since no one else is complaining about this. I'll be returning them and BC doesn't have any more in my size which is a shame.

I'm 6'4" w/ a 34" waist. What size should I get, L or XL?

plnautilus - Certainly an XL, more like an XXL for 34 inch waist & 6'4". Castelli runs tiny.

I am 5'11" & 170 lbs. Real 32inch waist. I like the XL Castelli bibs.

bought a size large (I am 6 ft, 170 lbs with a 32 inch waist)according to the sizing chart and they were uncomfortably tight all over, returned them promptly.

a little snug over the shoulders

Might need to get a larger size (especially if you are taller than you are taller than 6'). I am 6'3'' 190 lb. and I ordered the large; it fit great after stretch in period, the legs are quite tight and will take some getting used to. KISS is the best chamois I've had the opportunity to use!!!!!!

Best bang for your buck

These are slightly better than last year's super ergo bibs by Castelli. These dome due bibs are slightly thicker, slightly longer (in the knee) and feel quite a bit sturdier than the super ergos (though I can't tell for sure-- I've only ridden them three times.) Please note that the upper straps are breathable white mesh (on the black/black color scheme), and do not black like the above picture.
