Crank Brothers Alloy Power Pump Ultra

You just flatted and now all your friends are waiting impatiently while you change your tire. Good thing you have the ultra-fast Crank Brothers Alloy Power Pump Ultra. This dual-piston, high-pressure pump inflates your tire on both the in and out strokes, so you can get back on the trail twice as quick. The Crank Brothers Alloy Power Pump Ultra may even help you get your bike rolling fast enough to keep your friends from carrying on without you.

Bottom Line: Fast pit stops.

gets air in the tire

I wouldn't rely on this as your primary pump. It is fantastic for the trail and getting you back to the trailhead but is difficult for any more than a flat or slow leak out on a long ride.

Any problems using the Power pump and is it necessary to buy the heavier one to get more PSI?

Crank Brothers products are always best quality and best designed. 115 PSI is enough for road bikes and way more then you would ever need for a MTN Bike.

I disagree... my friend just bought this for use on his schrader valve, and it broke first use, very poor design in my opinion... and i just told a friend of mine this, and they agreed that this (and all crank bros pumps) have poor designs..

Great work out on your arms.

Well this is a cool little pump but it has a lot of resistance and is difficult to get to the right PSI. I am not a big fan. I also bought the one with the gauge so that I could actually see the PSI that I was at because with this one I was just guessing (and not very good at that). While this may be a small compact pump it will give you a work out just trying to get to the right PSI. I would suggest something bigger and if you decide on this one then I would recommend that you make sure to have a pressure gauge as well.
