Columbia Omni-Dry Challenger Convertible Pant - Men's

Can't decide between pants and shorts? You don't have to when you're wearing the Columbia Men's Challenger Convertible Pants. Plus, these convertible's non-baggy fit keeps you from looking like you're applying for the gangster-of-the-week award. Many hiking trails dip in and out of the shade, which is why it's great to have the ability to zip-off the bottom portion of the Challenger Convertible Pants. The wicking, quick-dry fabric keeps you comfortable as you work up a sweat, and durable nylon stands up to brush encounters along the way.

Bottom Line: Pull on Columbia's Challenger Convertible Pants and decrease changing-weather challenges.

Almost Perfect

These are hands-down the most comfortable pair of pants that I have ever worn. Ever. Lightweight, breathable, plenty of useful pockets. It's almost like you're not even wearing pants, and the shorts aren't too short, either. The only one gripe I have is that fossil color tends to not just show the dirt, but attract it. Two days wearing these camping and hiking, and they looked like I was a street bum, and they unfortunately didn't even wash all the way clean. I would highly recommend the darker color, but definitely get these pants!

Excellent

Hiked in florida for a week and these were the only pants i needed. Very comfortable and kept me dry. They kept me cool during the day and warm at night. The removable pant legs are easily removed and put back on.

GREAT!!

These pants are GREAT a lightweight pant that offers the zip off legs. I ordered the Fossil color very nice color not as light as it appears online which was good. I thought they ran big in fact I had to return them for a smaller size. They are great for keeping the sweat off your body with the Omni-Dry feature extremely important for those times your exerting alot of energy while hiking through the trails. I highly suggest these pants for everyone that camps or hikes.

Great pockets

Bought two to wear when camping with my son in Boy Scouts. Some convertibles move the cargo pockets up higher, which makes the stuff in the front pockets get pushed back into you from the stuff in the cargo pockets. These do not have that problem. These pockets are appropriately sized and spaced out. They're so comfortable I've started wearing them to work under a blazer, when I have something in every pocket (wallet pocket - wallet, left cargo - bluetooth headset, right cargo - cell phone, left front - Fenix P3D, right front Coldsteel Voyager XL and two sets of keys with fobs). If I'm not going to be too active, I tuck the top of the cargo pockets in so the velcro doesn't attach. Prefer the zipper which is over the wallet pocket rather than velcro for that pocket. After wearing them to work a few times, I'm thinking two pair isn't going to be enough.
