When you're on a long ski tour, you need a jacket to cover the full range of conditions you might encounter. The Columbia Men's Peak-To-Creek Parka covers all your bases. When you leave the summit, it's blowing and snowing. The mercury is plummeting but you're warm and dry. As conditions begin to mellow on the way down, you take off the shell and wear only the puffy liner jacket. It's warm enough to keep the chill off and keeps the light snow off your back. Lower in the valley, it starts to rain, so you take off the liner and wear the shell by itself.
