Columbia Whirlibird Parka - Women's

When cold weather moves in, grab the Columbia Women's Whirlibird Parka and its included zip-in insulated liner off the coat rack and get on with your day. 3K waterproofing and strategically taped seams help this parka shed wind and light snow, while a detachable hood lets you add or subtract protection depending on the conditions. On cold, clear days, wear the Whirlibird Parka's MicroTemp insulated parka for lightweight warmth. If you heat up, unzip the Whirlibird's pit zips and remove the liner.

Bottom Line: Be ready for the cold—arm yourself with the Columbia Whirlibird Parka.

Warm with Style!

This is a great jacket for cold temps (below 10F). Its' hard shell outer layer really kept the wet & cold outside. Oh and the zip out inner layer is super cute too for an eveing at the Chalet.... the blue hues are beautiful! This one ranks close to the top for me...it is actaully warmer than my Arcteryx Patriot jacket when warn with minimum layers.

Really cute and warm jacket. However, it runs small so you may want to order a size up.

I am very happy with the fit and style of this jacket. The zip in shell has a wonderful soft exterior and nice microfleece lining with mesh pockets. I get lots of compliments on the swirly embroidery design which is lovely but hard to see in the pictures. The shell is great, I LOVE the hood, so many adjustments and easy to remove. They really took care of all the little details on this coat. The zippers are covered so as not to rub your face and the snaps are all high quality and easy to use. It is warmer than I expected so I have been wearing the 2 pieces separately until it gets cooler. Can't wait to see how the pit zips and spray skirt help with warmth while x-country skiing. So far pit zips have been handy for shoveling snow. The color is gorgeous. My only complaint is having the white on the arms and cuffs as it shows dirt easily. I would have preferred less white or dark blue on the cuffs instead. Fast delivery to beautiful British Columbia Canada as well, no problems at all. Thanks from Kootenay Country, Nelson BC
