These were my first pair of snowshoes and I absolutely love them. I bought them to do some backcountry snowboarding and was a little worried they would be difficult to slip my boots into and awkward to walk in. Not so. They were amazingly simple to put on and even easier to walk in. They felt like an extension of my foot without the clumsiness of your typical snowshoe. The tear-drop shape is specifically adapted to a women's stride so they were much more natural then some of the uni-sex snowshoes I have tried on. I also happened to call Crescent Moon to ask them some questions about the bindings and they were VERY helpful and friendly. To top it all off, after looking at dozens and dozens of different snowshoes, they are definitely the coolest ones out there. So if you are a woman looking for a sweet pair of all around backcountry snowshoes that don't break the bank, the Crescent Moon Gold 15's are the way to go.
