I am thinking of years past, we used any type of mantle for our coleman lanterns, why so many different types , model numbers, and why can you not use any of them on any lantern???? Jon

Some of them are compatible. Try to match the one you need with any that are available. Many Century, Coleman, & Primus are interchangeable.
