Back to the Nest

This egg carrier is the perfect size (honestly who needs 12 eggs!). I love the stabilzers inside that keep my eggs from rattling around and making a mess of my backpack.

Eggsactly what I wanted...

By:

I've used a larger version of this in the past. I actually purchased two of these so if it's more than just the two of us or if we're preparing things that need more eggs we've got them. This small size is just the perfect number of eggs and doesn't take up so much space. I like the bright red color, makes it easy to find amongst everything else or when it's laying on the ground.

Finally!

By:

Finally, I can take eggs with backpacking and camping! I have used this a bunch, and because the eggs can't move around, you don't need to worry about them breaking.

Fresh Eggs @ Timberline

By:

If you're going to pack fresh eggs into the backcountry, this carrier is a must. Eggs are carefully locked into position so they can't move about. Handle locks tightly closed. If you're @ all paranoid like I was @ first, stash the egg container in a plastic zip lock bag until you feel comfortable.

Eggsacty right!

By:

My girlfriend and I bought this because we thought it was a joke. But hey, we're going for a week in Glacier NP, so why not give it a try, right? It worked! We now have two and they're staples on every backpacking trip or climb, even up Mt. Baker. A word of advice, though: If you're taking this to a campsite where there will be other people smelling your breakfast, bring extra eggs. It's amazing what goodies a free-market economy will get you in the morning.
