Temporarily Out of Stock
Don't get too bummed. This item is on the way and will be available for purchase as soon as it rolls into the warehouse.
Coleman RoadTrip Grill LX
Turn any tailgate lot or campsite get together into a barbecue with the Coleman RoadTrip Grill LX. The RoadTrip runs on a 16.4 ounce propane cylinder (not included), or you can outfit it with a propane hose and run it off a 20 pound tank. The grill runs at up to 20,000 BTUs for hot and fast cooking, even if you plan on using it outside a football stadium in freezing cold weather. The RoadTrip's 285sq in cooking surface is a real drip-through grill with a removable grease pan for easy cleaning. Coleman's easy-use design means you can pop the top off when you want to cook a huge pot of chili or detach the side tables when you're tight on space. The RoadTrip's two burners are independent so you can slow cook one side while blasting the other. The RoadTrip grill compactly folds and the lid locks shut so you can leave it in your trunk until you're ready to cook.
Bottom Line: The compact, high-power Coleman RoadTrip Grill LX turns any event into an impromptu barbecue.

They best way to properly perform a leak test on a gas appliance is to:
1. Pressurize the system by completely opening the tank valve,
2. Make sure the control knobs are turned off,
3. Use a certified gas leak detector & check all hoses & fittings.

Can I use the ceramic or lava rock briquettes rather than just the burners?

Sorry bro, you'll kill the burner mechanisms if you try to use charcoal or lava rock briquettes in these things. They're designed for propane, and pretty much propane alone.
I know there are some grill makers that do make charcoal + gas combo grills, you'll have to do some shopping around.
