Not what I expected...

I was expecting a technical base/mid layer when I ordered this, but the fit was very strange. It is cut very loose and baggy, more like a hoody you would wear to walk the dog than when hiking or climbing. According to the sizing chart I fall at the upper end of the medium size range, but the medium I received fits me like a bag. I could probably have been comfortable in a small. Not sure what Cloudveil were aiming for here. They added technical features like a hood and thumbholes, but then used a very non-technical cut. I ended up returning it and buying a Patagonia R1 Hoody.
