Chaco Canyonland Low eVent Hiking Shoe - Men's

Give your feet Chaco support plus the protection of a full coverage light hiker with the Men's Canyonland Low Trail Shoe. If you own a pair of Chaco's legendary sport sandals, you know that sinking feeling when you have to put them away for the winter or risk frostbitten toes. With the Canyonland Low, the amazing support you get in the summer months can start in early spring and continue well into fall. Chaco's removable BioCentric footbed controls pronation, while abrasion-resistant synthetic uppers and full dual-zone lacing make the Canyonland Low appropriate not only for the shoulder seasons, but anytime you need more beef than a sandal can provide.

Bottom Line: Super sandals beget supreme shoes.

Not good for hiking....

By: mmhilton21002058(3)

I am a Chaco lover and have hiked in their sandals for a long, long time. This shoe fits great and is very comfortable.....no blisters, pressure points, etc. However, it is not suitable for hiking if you are going to hike on normal trails...i.e., in the woods, or on rocky trails. The sole is so soft that every time you step on a stone, tree root, etc., it hurts the bottom of your foot. The sole felt acceptable at first, but after about 4-5 hikes they became softer and softer. If you want a comfortable shoe for walking on smooth, groomed surfaces, I think it would be great.

Great shoe

Bought these without even trying them on because of the chaco fit I have appreciated so much in their sandals and I was not let down. These fit like a glove and become a part of your foot. The footbed is simply grounded - not soft or aggressive, just right. You forget you even have them on, not because of their weight but because of the fit. Great shoe!
