i too, have a very narrow foot, 8aa. i tried on many pairs of these flip flops and was very surprised how narrow they felt. they do have a high arch or instep which i like. not sure about the flat foot part, though. i am planning on buying a few pairs myself.

In my post-injury search for flip flops with support, I have come across some pretty ugly and uncomfortable flips out there... These are not part of that category. Great arch support, industrial-strength rubber sole with tread(!?!?) and stylish leather lines - only change would be a bit more give/padding in the footbed for extra "cushiness and comfort"... Finally a flip flop even those of us with overworked (or overwrecked) joints can rock on a Saturday afternoon!
