Chaco Z/2 Diamond Stealth Sandal - Men's
The Chaco Men's Diamond Stealth Sandal has an outsole that's great for activities that demand an extra measure of slip-resistance and traction such as rafting, canyoneering and hiking. The Diamond Stealth's strap configuration offers an adjustable toe loop that adds a measure of security to your foot, making them incredibly stable on trails or in rivers. The adjustable strap system is made from soft quick drying polyester that maintains support in and out of water.
Bottom Line: Whether you're a river rat who needs a super grippy sandal or you just want a sturdy pair of sandals that will last ages, Chaco's Diamond Stealth Sandals are the way to go.

Never really wore sandals much more than a few minutes while at the pool. Most sandals hurt my toes. After i my feet stopped hurting from these (took 1/wk) they have been very comfortable. I have been using them for over a month now no complaints except they straps keep shifting some, but it is getting less. Great footwear! So jump on it and get some...

After 2 years wearing little else than my Chacos on the move from Wisconsin through Australia, SE Asia, India and now Taiwan, I've got no higher recommendation for a sandal. Whether I'm bouldering, gardening, cliff jumping, motorbiking through a monsoon, hill trekking or joining a pick-up game of street cricket, I can forget about my feet and get on with whatever I'm doing. Of my few complaints, the soles started to come off after the first 2 months (albeit hard use) and had to be stitched on in Laos, since then I've been to the cobbler twice here in Taiwan for re-gluing and a few nails in the bottom; since the sole is soft and grippy, it wears much faster than the Vibram, thus it's wearing thin and needs replacement.

Wicked comfortable. great for small hikes/ approaches. Keeps foot snug on sole with minimal rubbing. I stepped in something that took a while to get out of the tread. Although it was unpleasant at the time its only proof that the tread is deep and grips great.

You really do get what you pay for. These are incredibly comfortable. This sole is great for scrambling on the slickest of rock yet they perform equally well on the river, this is because the sole channels the water very well.

i bought my first pair of chacos to hike buckskin gultch in southern utah. i broke them in with thirty miles of hiking under a 35 pound pack and they performed like a dream. the stealth rubber sole was perfect for canyoneering and never slipped once when wading through waist deep pools and scrambling all over slickrock and sandstone. they were comfortable, provided plenty of support, and only gave me one small blister on my toe after they got wet and i continued to hike. thanks chaco! thanks you guys!

When i say this i speak the whole truth and nothing but that. These are the most comfortable sandals ever made. although the price is a little steep...you get what you pay for. if you are deciding whether or not to get the Chacos...don't think twice, buy them. the stealth sole is very grippy and it hasn't worn at all since i have had them. this is my second pair of Chacos and i LOVE THEM!

I just got my first pair of Chaco's about two weeks ago and they fit very true to size, I am a size 10, got a 10 and they fit just right. Here are some of the Pro's and Con's from my experience
Pro's = fairly light weight
Dry super fast
great arch support and strap support
grip to river bottom like no other!
strap easily on my pack
Are comfortable in the river and around camp
Cons =
Can not substitute for hiking boots or shoes, Hiked 2.5 miles in them the second time I wore them and my feet got thrashed.
Over all they are great river sandals that can handle multi pitch ascents and descents for short distances

I own an earlier version of the Chaco sandals. I "upgraded" to the Stealth version for two reasons: grippier soles and lighter weight. These shoes deliver on both of those reasons. I wore them climbing slick rock and walking through creeks in the Southwest. The grip was great and I felt fully in control. Although lighter than earlier versions they are still heavier than my Tevas. I like the toe loop (I lost my Tevas in quicksand)but not everyone can get used to it.

The chaco's I bought work so well! I love them already and I've only had them for about two weeks. I highly recommend you buy a pair! Well worth it.

Another puchase for anther great pair of Chacos. The Diamond Stealth Sole is super grippy for the approach. A great solid sandal.
