Costa Del Mar George Polarized Sunglasses

When you go from the water to the car to the deck of your favorite watering hole, you need the refined style and lightweight polarized polycarbonate lenses of the Costa Del Mar George Sunglasses. Costa Del Mar uses a rimless wrap square lens and minimalist Monel metal frames to take you all over the sun-drenched islands with featherweight coverage. Fish don't stand a chance against the polarized filter that enables you to see past the surface glare and into their habitat for precision casts right on the mark. Light silicone nose pads provide secure grip for worry-free wear even when wet.

Bottom Line: The polarized Costa Del Mar George Sunglasses aren't for the average Joe.

George...Michael?

By:
December 1, 2008

Supposedly these are named after a sea turtle or some malarkey, but I say they were named for George Michael. They are big and cover a lot of real estate, just like George would wear...or maybe Bono. Regardless, I have a largish head so I think they work for me. Sadly, I ordered them during winter in Seattle so it will be at least 5 months before they see sun. Oh yeah, and I got em off SAC so I didn't need a rock star's budget to get them. In wearing them as I write this review (I wear my sunglasses at night...) I can say they are very light and I can see where they will be comfy once I get the nose pieces dialed. These are definitely shades, not cheap sunglasses. The blue lens tint looks nifty. Probably not for everyone.
