Great with the Reactor Stove

By:

The 4 and 8oz MSR fuels work very well with the reactor stove. I use the 8 oz to cut down on waste. They both fit "in" the reactor pot for storage.

how long is the burn time with the Brunton Flex stove?

Flag

I use 9 to 13 grams of fuel per usage for 16 oz. of water. Four ounces of fuel is equal to 113 grams. So for me I can get between 9 & 13 uses from one 4 oz. canister. If you use your stove four times a day, a 4 oz. canister will last approximately 2.5 to 3.5 days max. (The variance in 9 to 13 grams usage is due to elevation, temperature, & wind conditions).

no probles does what it does

Overall I haven't noticed a difference between brands. They all last about the same amount of time. This one does have a 13g more of fuel in it so I always end up getting this one.

compatible w/ snowpeak

By:
August 5, 2008

works great with my snowpeak GigaPower stove, although instructions per the snowpeak manual says don't use with any other fuel canister. Upon further research, both have a Lindell valve which makes the MSR canister compatible despite Snowpeaks stern warning. So use it without worry of sending your mac n cheese into low orbit.

This fuel bottle worked great on my Jetboil stove and nested perfectly in the personal cooking system. My last bottle lasted me for 3 weekends straight -- serving about 15 meals.

Lightweight & Efficient

Good for a three day trip. Use the 220 if you're going out for any longer. Hot & efficient tri-fuel blend including isobutane. Works great @ higher elevations.

Burn Baby Burn!

This is the perfect size to carry for 1-2 days in the woods where you don't have to worry about your fuel running out but you also do not have to pack the weight in with you either. Boils water fast, and you will have enough fuel to do a few meals and that ever so important coffee that we all love when getting started out there for the day. Great size fuel from MSR!
