MSR 3 in 1 Dromedary Cap

Your Dromedary will leak eventually, this is the right cap to revive your water bag.

I have eight of these dromedary bags, because I kayak into Everglades National Park and you must bring all your water. The dromedary bags are an expensive solution, but they are much tougher than plastic containers and fit into the hold of the boat. Over time, the caps have a tendency to develop leaks, perhaps from sand getting into them. I've had to replace three so far.

This is a good idea- especially because the original cap that comes with the bag seems to wear out. I love MSR.

I have not had a problem with my cap and have used it for at least a year. Can be annoying if you do catch it on something, but it makes drinking out of the bag a lot easier.

The cap on the Dromedary Bag has leaked for a couple of years. We have been trying to find another one in the stores and have been unsuccessful. It was very aggravating to not be able to replace it. I now found it on this site and I see that I am not the only one that has had the problem. We had taken it in to the store and they would do nothing about it. I am now considering just using one from a bottle that we have available at home, but it doesn't have the extra small opening in it. I expected it to be very good because of the other good products that we have gotten from MSR.

To the previously posted review: Tighten the cap! I have had good luck with these. You can hang your MSR drom bag from a tree, and the cap makes a nice stream for hand washing.

Give this one a pass. This cap is not constructed to the high MSR standards I am used to. I have had 4 of these caps on dromelite bags and every one leaks. I lose 1/2 of my water storage in a 4L bag overnight.
