CamelBak Hydrobak Hydration Pack - 1.5L

The CamelBak Hydrobak Hydration Pack combines absolute comfort with a high-performance, low-profile design. Over-the-shoulder tube routing and a non-leak Big Bite Valve gives you quick, easy access to water on your trail runs and bike rides. A small slash pocket stores an energy bars and your car keys, and the Hydrobak's Airmesh back panel ventilates to keep you comfortable and dry. With a compact footprint and short length, the CamelBak Hydrobak Hydration Pack keeps out of the way of your bike helmet and stray tree branches.

Bottom Line: If you're looking for an easy way to bring water on your runs and rides, grab the low-profile CamelBak Hydrobak Hydratioin Pack.

Excellent

I bought this for my 3 and 5 yr olds, they love it. Dad no longer has to carry their water, they do it on their own and they're happy to do so. I would recommend buying some replacement mouth pieces- kids tend to chew on it like bubble gum and it tears.

I would like to use this pack when I go running with my dog....

I would like to use this pack when I go running with my dog. If you've used this pack running does it bounce up and down or pretty much stay in one place. I don't see a chest strap so I'd like to find out before purchasing.
Thanks!

Flag

Yes it will bounce.

It's worth getting the Camelbak Rogue (men/universal) or Dream (Women) for the cross-straps.

Great minimalist pack

This is a great pack if you just want to carry some water and a few extra items (gels, car keys, cell phone). I use this on adventures where I will be out half the day and want to go light.

Camel back

This product is great for mountain biking. The only downfalls are the fact that it has no waist strap to keep it more secure for downhill and its impossible to not get water all over it when you fill it up unless you take the bladder out each time.

Hate packs; Loved this one

I am generally a huge fan of lumbar packs and not such a fan of running with a backpack -- but this is the exception. Like most women with waist that is smaller than their hips, my lumbar hydration pack rides up and flops around when I run. I was wonderfully surprised how stable this hydration pack was for trail running. I was skeptical that it didn't have a waist or chest strap, but found that it doesn't need one. Super stable, even on the downhills, and the pocket holds a cell phone and keys just fine. Could stuff a windbreaker in with the hydration pack -- but overall a very low profile. Awesome pack.

HydroPak - Camelpack - 1.5L - Black

Nice product - compact. Perfect for biking or under your coat for spring skiing. 1.5L is just enough for me. Pouch can hold keys and a Clif bar. If you want to pack more stuff, upgrade to a larger pack with a waist strap. Only downfall is that it doesn't have a chest strap. Light pack - I like it.
