CamelBak Classic Hydration Pack - 2L

Fill the CamelBak Classic Hydration Pack's two-liter water reservoir and stay watered during your hikes, bikes, and runs. The bungee cord on the back holds a light raincoat in case the weather changes. The Classic Hydration Pack has a security pocket for keys, ID, and energy bars, and on hot days its mesh back panel keeps the air flowing. This CamelBak pack's reservoir prevents residue build-up, so your water or sport drink tastes the way it should.

Bottom Line: When all you need to bring are water, keys, and a light layer, grab CamelBak's Classic Hydration Pack.

Better than I thought

By:

I've never ridden with a pack before, so I was worried the added weight and movement might get a little annoying. After about 30 seconds on the trail, you don't even realize it's there. Enough space to bring a few necessities on the trail, plus the cord laces on the pack allow for a little more cargo, but not much. Overall a good product.

Camelback ...consistant

By:

Great quick ride pack..or hiking, trail run pack. Not a huge amount of room..but enough for a few essentials. Nice because it is handy when you'd rather not bring along the camelback you'd take on a 4-5 hr. ride..but rather have a hydration pack that can be grabbed when you really just need H20 and a small snack and shirt/jacket. Off You Go! Backcountry.com cannot be any more awesome than they already are..so makes buying from here a no-brainer :)

Hydration Pack

I love my pack! Not too big so I don't really notice it is there, lasts me about 3 hours when I'm out and about! No rubber taste either, big plus.

St. Pat's Day

By:
April 5, 2007

On St. Patricks Day I march with a Marching group in the Irish Channel Parade in New Orleans. Instead of carrying my own beer or drink mixers, I was able to premake 70oz of whiskey and coke. It worked out really well and also stayed pretty cool. After cleaning, there is no "aftertaste." Thanks... you made my Patty's Day.

Great piece of gear to own.

I love this Camelbak. I never realized how easy it could be to take water on the move, and I pretty much take it everywhere with me, whether its touring around the rain forests of Puerto Rico or just exercising at the gym. I'm sure it will come in handy on the long hikes I plan on doing this summer, because I won't have to stop to drink out of a water bottle, yet I'll still stay hydrated.

Easy to use, convenient

By:
December 17, 2006

This is great for low impact hikes or biking. It holds my keys, ID, and snacks (not to mention water) - a much better alternative to stuffing it in pockets, holding on to it, or carrying a heavier pack. For higher impact activities, like running, be careful what is worn underneath. I've had a few instances where I was badly chafed. Otherwise, it's a quick & easy hydration solution.

This CamelBak is my favorite. It carries a lot and yet remains low profile and stays out of your way. Great for extended trail running and short hikes.
