Burton Moto Snowboard Boot - Men's

A favorite of advancing freeriders and anyone on a budget, Burton's Moto Snowboard Boot proves that you don't have to break the bank to get quality performance. This boot offers time-tested basics to riders looking for trickle-down top-end construction. Burton gave the Moto a new lacing system that locks your foot in with one quick pull of the single lace cable. The Moto's two-part outsole is soft enough to cushion landings but gives you the sensitivity you want underfoot for sliding rails or even just learning to ride. The unique shell design, featuring anatomical wrapping, gives the Moto superior hold that keeps your boot snug from the top of the boot down.

Bottom Line: Burton boots that won't evaporate your bankroll.

Great Boots!

I bought these boots a few weeks ago and just had the chance to use them this past weekend. The lacing system allows you to put them on very quickly and stay tight all day. They are also ver yvery warm boots and supply good support so your feet won't hurt after a day on the hill. I am definately glad I bought these boots!

It does have dual zone speed lacing but it is all controlled on one side. So if you pull on the front on the one handle it tightens the bottom and if you pull on the back it tightens the upper zone.

These boots run true to size. If your BF wears a size 11 sneaker then he would wear a size 11 boot.

yup ive got the motos along with some 32 lashed. the right foot tears easily if u support the board with it in the lift, even after the second day. while one is riding the motos, they definately tend to loosen up throughout the day a i find myself continually tightening them. its not cus im a tard either. other wise i guess there good if u learning...

Quality construction

I havent used them yet, but everything is well made. Tough materials, tough stitching, strong lacing system. My first impression of the speed zone system was that i would rip it off trying the boots on, but it was amazingly solid. Im a novice boarder, so the speed will certainly help, as will ability to adjust on the mountain. Seems pretty true to show sizes, i wear a 12 shoe and the size 12 boot fits perfectly with a pair of merino wool socks.

A Solid boot

I picked up last years model - and have put about 30 full days in them. To start, the single lace cable system works well. There is an upper zone that goes from the ankle up the shin, and a lower zone covering the top of the foot. You are able to get a nice custom fit, and I never need to re-adjust after I first put them on. Nothing has broken/fallen off/malfunctioned all year and look forward to this season in them. Only drawback I'd say is that it is a stiffer boot, if you are looking for a new shoe for a freestyle setup - choose another.
