Burton S Series Split Snowboard

Forget about lift lines, ticket prices, and crowded, cut-up slopes. The Burton S Series Split Snowboard gets you to the goods without forcing you to posthole through the backcountry. This board splits in half to let you skin your way up the ridge before you put it back together and rip freshies that those lift-bound suckers will never find. A slightly tapered shape increases flotation in the powder, but a twin flex helps you stick switch landings with ease. Burton used 10:45 sidewalls to increase durability, a Park Fly II core for tons of pop, and a Sintered WFO Vision base to keep you ripping with all the speed you want. To get to the remote pow you'll need the Voile Universal Binding Interface and Tractor Skins (sold separately) to get up, and avalanche safety gear and awareness to stay alive in the backcountry.

Bottom Line: Get the goods that no one with a lift ticket will ever see.
