Burton Gore-Tex Glove - Men's

These are great gloves. They do not get wet and they keep my hands warm all day; even without the liners. The top pocket is a nice touch for hand warmers if needed. If your looking for durability, warmth, and comfort at a relatively reasonable price, look no further!

This glove comes with the clever features I expect from Burton; The palms are a tough polymer material that I don't see failing any time soon, the cinches are drawstrings are designed to be handled while the other hand is gloved and clumsy, there's a nice little zip compartment on each hand, and the whole thing slides on and off like a dream. The only real drawback is that insulation is not great: water doesn't penetrate, as promised, but cold air definitely does, and your fingers will get a bit cold even in 25 degree F weather. The liners help, but they make the whole package bulky and the gloves become a bit tricky to put on, especially for the snowboarders out there smart enough to use wristguards.

This is honestly the best gloves that I have ever owned. I am a really wild snowboarder and the kept my hands warm and dry. I would suggest washing these gloves by hand with little soap to preserve the water proof seal. I am very surprised to see bad reviews.

These gloves seemed like they would be good until I took them to the slopes. The gauntlets suck and your hands will get wet if you fall even if you tighten them all the way to your wrist and over your sleeve. The Gore-Tex worked pretty good, but your hands do get extremely cold if you sweat at all because these gloves don't breathe or wick away moisture. They are also very bulky and hard to maneuver in and out of pockets. I have to take them off to get into pockets. The only feature that I liked was the zipper pocket on the back for hand warmers.

These gloves (I got medium) are slightly narrow and a bit difficult to put on, compared to the same gloves from Burton 2 seasons ago and other brands. The large gloves were too long in the fingers. However, the inner gloves, which can be used separately, are thicker than the older model, and the gloves are overall very warm (downright hot, at times).

This is my second pair of Burton gore Gloves. As noted in previous reviews, they have made some changes, regretably not good ones. The gauntlet is at least 1" shorter and does not easily go over the cuff on my jacket. Why they did this makes no sense. Also the glove is smaller over all. I wear an extra large, and this second pair is smaller in every way. Because of these changes they require more effort to don and remove. They are warm, water proof, breath well, have idiot leashes, and the best one handed gauntlet closure system that I have used.
Hey Burton, fix the gauntlet and the overall size and this is the best glove for the $$ hands down!!!

These are OK but not great gloves. They are pretty bulky and warm initially but soon pack down and lose their warmth. Also, as one reviewer stated if you plan on much exertion don't use these as they do not breather very well at all and you will soon be left with cold clammy digits.

I used these approx 6 times in the Rockies and they are ready to throw away. The "toughskin" or whatever it is on the palms is weak, it has begun separating and disintegrating around the base of the fingers.

By the afternoon these gloves start freezing up on you too.

I am off to look for some pittards.

Best gloves we have had in years kept the hands warm even with 20 below temps! Great gloves at a great price and the inner glove can be used after boarding.

I tried a L first and it looked like I would need an XL. When I got the XL, it seemed that the liner got bigger (not quite big enough) but the shell remained the same size - way too small!

bought it because of the brand name and the removeable liner! not as great as i thought it would be. tha material is hard and always make my hands sore by end of the day. doesn't work well with the wrist guard because after a few trips, already seen tears and cracks on palm area. never try other brand before but should have something better out there.

Great gloves... use the liners and youre good for a days worth of dry hands. I gave this 4 stars cause I have the mitts as well and the mitts own these. I use these for toolin around pre-mountain. I did not have a problem with the sizing they fit well.

Going by the sizing guide provided, the small size should've been good for me. However, they were pretty tight and uncomfortable. I was able to return them and get a bigger size quickly and with no problem (kudos to backcountry--you guys rock!). As for the gloves' performance, they are very warm. It's early January in Japan and I have to take the liners out because my hands get too hot. I went to the mountain 3 days in a row with heavy snow/sleet fall and my hands stayed very dry as well. Great gloves and great price. Thank you backcountry!

I wore these for 3 hours in 10 degree weather and my fingers were cold the whole time. They are so bulky that you have to take off your glove to do anything, even zip up your coat. The gore-tex liner had very large uncomfortable seams on every finger. I put on my $20 fleece mittens and they were 100% warmer. Worst gloves I ever owned. I had to give them away

Order a size up on these puppies. If you usually wear a XL glove, this is not the glove for you. It will not fit. Other than that, they would have been great.

Sick gloves, i have two pair and they have never failed! Always nice and toasty!!
