If it's just a matter of style, I personally like going overboard with patterns, so I'd go comic. You see a lot of white pants on the slopes... not too many comic pants, eh?

Pretty bomb pants. I got the zebra looking ones at first and returned them cause they're pretty flashy.. I ended up with the burlap ones which i totally dig now. Just be advised the crazy colors are in fact crazy.

I was looking for baggy enough so that I could wear knee pads, in case a kite jump goes wrong. Also, needed waterproof, breathable. And good powder gaters. This pant has all of these and works well. One of the waist closure snaps was broken (came that way). Luckily, the other snap is fine, so it doesn't matter much to me. Overall, pretty good for the money.

I am 38 year old beginner and on a budget. I am 6'-2" and weigh 250lbs. My family own's a house in Winter Park and I am taking my daughter snow boarding this year and am having a hard time finding XXL jackets and pants. I would like basic colors (black, tan, red, etc...) what do you recomend?

I am a quite large person, and was worried i might not be able to get any pants that would fit, but these are just amazing, i got the XXL Burlap, and they just are so comfortable! after a day at the slopes, i don't even want to take them off to watch a movie, they are very waterproof, and wearing just some underarmour tights and gym shorts underneath, they were very warm for nightboarding in -2 degree weather!

Since it has dual layer waterproofing the breathablity will be affected. They should still breathe some but probably not enough for 50 degree sunny days..... of course there are few pants that are light enough for those days if you are working.

It depends on how cold the weather is and how much moving you're doing. They have no extra insulation in them, so on those sub zero degree days, you'll probably need some extra layers. However, it is waterproof, and usually if you're really cold, it's because you're wet.These are plenty big enough to fit a pair of sweats underneath incase you need them on those cold days.
