Burton Franchise Pant - Men's
The Burton Men’s Franchise Pant keeps you dry and comfortable whether you’re riding three feet of freshies or sessioning a slushy park during the late spring. The waterproof breathable Durashell fabric and fully taped seams ensure not a drop of water gets into these Burton pants. Inner thigh vents help you stay cool when temperatures rise or when you’re hiking another lap on a booter. Burton also added ghetto slits for serious sag and leg lifts to keep these pants from dragging in the mud while you cross the parking lot. **DISCONTINUED**
Bottom Line: Ready for any weather the mountain throws your way.

Hi I am wearing pants size 36, what size should I order L or XL? Are they running small or running big. Also from the picture it looks like there are a very faint line of square in the fabric. Is that true or just the picture

The fabric does have details in it, and as for sizing, I would recommend an XL for the waist to fit nicer.

Great pants. I'm 6'7" 230lbs and the XL size of these pants fits me great. These pants have tons of pockets for all of your gear. The two main pockets (the ones where you'd stick your hands to keep them warm) are amazing. They are insulated and soft on the inside and very warm/waterproof! These pants even have a cool windowed flap for one of the pockets for you to keep your season lift ticket in. Overall warm pants...i wore nothing but a pair of Jordan basketball shorts under them and my legs never got chilly. My only gripe is that the back pockets are not as waterproof as I'd like them to be. Sitting on wet lifts all day will get your butt and anything in those back pockets just a little moist. It's nothing major though. I highly recommend these bad boys...and I only knocked them down a star because of the slightly moist wallet I got in the back pocket last weekend.

Will these pants work for skiing? I want to make sure they aren't too baggy

Well they're supposed to be baggy, but if that doesn't bother you then they'll be fine. Probably too baggy for tele skiing, but then again I have friends that tele in stuff this loose. Up to you.

This pant is GREAT! It has 10k waterproof rating and 10000g breathable rating! The Burton Franchise Pant is really cool and great colors! This has a mid-baggy to normal fit and you have alot of room to move in! If they are too big in the waist you can wear a belt because it has loops. It has OK venting and ALOT of BIG pockets! REALLY NICE PANT FOR SKIING/SNOWBOARDING!
