Burton AK 2L Jussi Anorak Jacket - Men's

Squirm into the Burton AK 2L Jussi Anorak Jacket for complete protection against any and all moisture whatsoever. Water-hating Gore-Tex fabric shuns every droplet, and the no-chest-zipper design eliminates weak spots for moisture to penetrate. Burton’s AK series is designed for the gnarliest Alaskan conditions, and its lifetime warranty shows the confidence Burton has in the line. Articulated joints and a very roomy Team fit make moving, swinging, spinning, and flipping unrestricted and easy.

Bottom Line: The best waterproof breathable protection in the world.

Perfect. (or as close as possible...)

The best jacket I have purchased to date. There is not a single complaint i can give. Gore Tex durability and waterproofing is amazing. Fit is perfect. Music pocket works wonderfully. the front pouch is perfect to stuff your goggles into when hiking. The closest thing i have to a complaint is the lack of mesh on the armpit vents but i have ridden the past two days with the vents open and have had no problems. If your worried about the price, i have bought other jackets of similar price and this jacket is the only one that i cannot find anything to complain about.

As with almost every Burton jacket this is made to fit over a helmet.
The two zippers are there because this jacket snugs right up close to your chin/face so when you need some breathing room, also they're to aid in the process of installation and removal of the jacket......since there isn't a zipper all the way down.
Pullovers are really nice. Maybe a little less easy to put on but once it's on they're really great. There's no honkin big zipper down the front of your jacket that will cause issues with movement. It's a very clean way to go for a jacket.
Hope that helps.

Old School Pullover

The Jussi Anorak is one of my favorite jackets. I love the pullover since I first started boarding in 94. It was nice to find a super high quality unit with the Gore-Tex quality and the dope Burton styling. I enjoy the roomier cut and extended length. It work out awesome last week on a knee deep powder day. When I hit a large rock with my back the jacket remained unscathed and all I had was a purple egg to remember the fall. The jacket was unharmed. I was worried the shell would be weak, but I totally believe in the 2L performance shell for both comfort and strength. Soft to the touch and ready to Rock! I give high praise and recommend this pullover! WORD!

It's an extremely waterproof shell made for layering. It's more lightweight and waterproof than it is warm. If you're looking for warm maybe you should seek out an insulated piece. This could be warm in the sense you paired it with proper layering because it would keep you very dry thus equaling warmth. Check out some of Burton's first layers and Mid layers.
