Burton Reason Fleece Jacket - Men's

Wearing the Burton Men's Reason Fleece Jacket on a cold day is a no brainer. Whether you wear this insulating jacket as an outer layer during, cold, clear days or layer it under your shell during the storm, the Burton Reason Fleece's windproof fleece fabric will keep you warm and riding hard. Burton lined the Reason Jacket's collar with brushed tricot so it feels good against your skin. When you start to heat up riding the pipe, unzip the Burton Reason Fleece's pitzips for instant air conditioning. The only thing that doesn't make sense is why Burton made the camo print reflective—doesn't that defeat the purpose of camo? We guess it was for a unique look, but who knows.

Bottom Line: Smart riders rock the windproof Burton Reason Fleece Jacket.

Good Fleece

This jacket is not bad at all. It is a little long when wearing it under a shell, but nothing that you can't deal with. It is great for warm spring days when you want the jacket to be longer rather than shorter. I like the design too. Pick this up its a great deal.

Nearly perfect gear

I received this new fleece 2 weeks ago and had time to wear it 4 times over my thin first layer HH and under my Dakine outdoor shell (it's only a shell, no insulation layer inside), and under -25 to -4 celsius degres (-13 to 25 in farenheit). The jacket do the job very well: Good insulation and very good water evacuation. When riding or hiking, i never feel cold or wet. Moreover, the jacket keep well the heat when staying immobile (on the lift). Only under the coldest temperature and when the lift is too long, I feel the cold: In that case, I wear a warmer first layer and I'm fully OK!!! Finally, it looks very good and fit perfectly. Considering the price, the perfection could be reached if the several zippers was more well-finished..

Not so good

Although I have not tested this on hill yet, I am not so happy with it's fit and length. I have quite a few pieces from the burton line, all of which fit me well in size XL. This piece is very slim fitting in the lower body and waist, and way to big in the shoulders. As well, the piece is much longer then it should be. As an under layer, it should be short to allow the outerlayer powder skirt to fit properly. All of the other burton fleeces I own are just at waist length. This piece is much too long (even when I sag my pants a bit). This creates a problem...I guess I will fold under with the draw string waist. This is not a very comforable piece. There are others in the line that are much better. Looks good though...
