Burton Pinnacle XCR Glove - Men's

Burton made the Men's Pinnacle XCR Glove for riders who aren't stopped by rain, hail, sleet, or arctic freezes. A Gore-Tex XCR insert works with Storm-lite softshell fabric to protect your hands from water and wind while allowing for great breathability and movement. Low-bulk Primaloft insulation provides warmth. Burton constructed the Pinnacle XCR Glove's removable liner using Outlast Adaptive Comfort Technology, which absorbs and stores excess heat, then releases it back to your body when your temperature drops. A thin layer of microfiber on the inside of the shell also wicks sweat to prevent clammy-hand syndrome. The Pinnacle XCR Glove's Rodeo AK Leather palm is burly enough to take abuse from grabs but still provides the dexterity to manipulate your bindings or 420 kit. Open up the zippered pocket for extra ventilation, or stash a hand-warmer for those extra cold days. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Fantastic Glove

These are great gloves. They come with a little packet of weather-proofing wax that you apply to the leather surfaces of the glove (the palm, finger undersides, and fingertips) and let dry for about 12 hours. Then you wipe of any excess and you're good to go. Size XL fit as expected. The liner is quite nice enough to wear "around the lodge" but they can be easy to lose since they don't attach to the glove in any way (just be careful not to drop the liners). I originally bought the more expensive "AK 3L Glove" but was not as impressed. I think these are better for most people. These may not be *quite* as absolutely waterproof and warm under the coldest cold, but these look better on your hand, and these are actually a little roomier. They kept my hands nice and warm in 15-degree (farenheight) slopes in Alberta, Canada. I have them in both the brown and black colorways. Highly recommended.
