Burton AK 2L Stagger Pant - Men's

The Burton Men's AK 2L Stagger Pant is the ideal pant to have on an epic backcountry adventure. As you stagger up the hill, unzip this technical shell pants' inner and outer thigh vents to prevent overheating. On top, the Stagger Pants' Gore-Tex shell will sluff off snow, sleet, or even rain to keep you comfortable. Have to wait for you buddy? A fleece lined seat and knees provide warmth right where you need it as you sit or kneel in the snow. Both AQUAzip water-resistant zippers and Tiny Tape taped seams decrease the AK 2L Stagger Pant's weight and bulk, so you can move freely as you down the hill. Back in the parking lot, use Burton's Leg Lifts feature to lift up the pant cuffs and prevent the backs of the shells from being shredded on the pavement. *Available for US shipment only.

Bottom Line: Earn your turns without overheating in the Burton Men's AK 2L Stagger Pant.

awesome pants

The pants themselves are super comfortable and lightweight. The ventilation works great. The only downfall is that the "kneepads" that were supposedly sewn into the pants are not there! Would i trade them in for something different though? I think not!

nice-not for cold weather

These are great pants with cool style. Vents are uniquely placed to open and close as you walk, cycling air. Zippers really are waterproof and wind proof. They have fleece lining only in the seat, not the knees however (as advertised) and the gore-tex material is very very light... so these aren't the warmest pair of over pants you could wear. Also fit is smaller and tighter than previous seasons- Burton isn't as consistent with their sizing as they should be. If you're on the larger size of a Large pant, I'd go up to an XL. If you hike a lot and earn your turns these are the pants. If you do a little of everything, maybe consider something else.
