This lightweight down jacket's Gore-Tex shell preserves the down's loft, even in full-on whiteout conditions. Burton used water-resistant zippers to make sure not a drop of moisture penetrates this insulated jacket, and to cut down on unnecessary weight. When the heli lands, the AK 2L LZ's hood, waist gaiter, and cinch hem seal out wind from the helicopter's rotor wash.
