Burton Baker Mitt - Men's

The Burton Men's Baker Mitt gives you bomber weather protection. Your fingers will stay warm and comfy inside the Thermacore-insulated 5K-rated waterproof nylon shell and plush wooly fleece lining. In frigid, arctic conditions, throw a handwarmer in the Baker Mitt's outer vent pocket. For spring pipe sessions, leave the vent open to prevent overheating. The highly abrasion-resistant Toughgrip-X synthetic leather palm provides a durable grip for tweaked-out grabs. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: Don't worry about your hands in the super warm Burton Baker Mitts.

These Mitts are freakin' awesome

Mainly on account of the "doobie pouch" in the front. Roll 'em loose to prevent splitting, and with the shake of a mitted hand, you'll be kicked back spliffing faster than you can say "jib kids".

Good mitt for the price....

Just picked these up. The synthetic leather palms are alright - not very grippy though. Overall a pretty good mitt. They are pretty warm too, they are doing fine in -20 celsius (-2 f). I haven't had a chance to go snowboarding in them yet, but I am pretty sure they will perform just fine. The wooly interior lining is exceptionally warm and comfortable. I would recommend these mitts. They look pretty good and are worth the price (especially now that they are on sale). Pick them up!

Almost perfect Mitten

By: Mr. Minne(1)

These are the best deal in mittens. The quality met all my expectations. I needed a mitten that would fit my own thick fleece liners and wrist guards. I ordered one size larger and since these don't have internal finger slots they worked perfectly. I also require a vent zip so I can stuff handwarmers up near the tips of my fingers. Toasty. These Baker's fit the bill perfectly. The only reason they don't get a 5 is because I wish wrist closure was the longer "Gauntlet" type. I find that type easier to seal when I'm rushing on the mountain.

Wrong Size

I bought these gloves for my brother. He liked them, but they were too small. He is going to return them for another pair. He may upgrade to a slightly "higher quality" mitten.

Not Recommended For Snowboarding

By: Editor, TRAILSOURCE.COM(13)

These mittens performed poorly for snowboarding. The Gore-Tex shell wore out very quickly. The seams unraveled after only a couple months. The snowboard edges cut the palms quickly. These just aren't a good choice for snowboarders.
