Burton Pinnacle XCR Under Glove - Men's

From spring corn to winter blizzards, when you wear the Burton Men's Pinnacle XCR Under Gloves, your hands will be toasty, dry, and comfortable. A Gore-Tex XCR insert works with the waterproof breathable Storm-lite softshell fabric to protect your hands from water and wind. Primaloft insulation gives you added warmth when the temperature drops. The removable fleece liner wicks sweat, and its Outlast Adaptive Comfort Technology releases excess heat when you're working hard and gives it back when it gets cold. A Rodeo AK leather palm provides durability without compromising dexterity, while stretch zones prevent the gloves from getting too stressed in high-wear areas. These gloves don't have a gauntlet so you can wear them under your jacket's sleeves. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: The Burton Pinnacle XCR Under Glove—a systematic shelter for your hands.

i havn't owned many gloves throuhgout my skiing years but it is safe to say that this are great. thats not saying alot because these are my first gloves over 50$, but i was in the snow alot and these cept warm pretty well. one important thing to know is that they come with a decent pair of liners. and it comes with water repellent wax for the soft nubuk on thumbs.

probably not worth the price

These are good gloves overall. But even with Gore-Tex I found them NOT to be waterproof. In wet OR riding conditions my hands get damp (yes- I used the nikwax). The liners are good town gloves but too bulky when used in combo with the gloves -hand movement restricted greatly. other features; goggle wipe, vents, & leashes, overall construction are great. Get over or under style based on your jacket cuffs: under for big/ wide cuffs.

i got these gloves in a M when i should have gotten a L. they are alittle tighter then i expect but i perfer them tight over being loose. i would suggest these to anyone. i also enjoy how burton put the vent/heater pouch pocket in most of the gloves now

Sweet Gloves!

These glove are great at keeping my hands warm, even without the included liners. I'm over 6 feet tall and have big hands, so using the liners is out of the question. Word to your mom Burton!

One more thing..

I forgot to write this in my review, but these gloves DO have a goggle wide and nose wipes. The goggle wipe is located on the inside of the left index finger, and the nose wipes are located on both thumbs.

Hands down the best glove I've owned..

By: JungleLarry (7)
February 10, 2007

After riding with Dakines, Grenades, and other Burton gloves, I finally decided to check out the Pinnacle XCR. First time I used it was in Breckenridge and it was about 15 degrees outside. I didn't use the liners, and my hands were still warm. A week ago, I was in Breckenridge again, except this time it was -40 degrees. With the liners in, these gloves saved my hands from some serious frost bite. The pouch for hand warmers on the top of the glove is insanely useful and these gloves are TOUGH. They provide the best dexterity I've ever seen in a glove, and that was a main selling point. One thing you may want to note: these gloves provide excellent insulation. That also means that if you stick cold hands into them, they will stay cold for 15-20 minutes before they start warming up again. I usually wear these gloves for a while in the lodge before I head out on the slopes so everything is nice and warm, then for the rest of the day, my hands are sweating. Great glove!

Bomber gloves

By: Stinky Dave (27)
December 2, 2006

These gloves are absolutely bomber. Went out last week in -10 temps and forgot the inner liners they come with and thought I was screwed. But to my surprise I had no issues with my hands staying warm. I don't know how they do it because these gloves are very thin (almost like spring gloves) but are ultra toasty. Stinky D gives them 2 thumbs up!
