Burton AK Gore-tex 3L Throttle Glove - Men's

The Burton Men's AK 3L Glove's Gore-Tex Viper Stretch XCR fabric gives you unmatched wind- and waterproofing, breathability, and mobility. For warmth, Burton insulated the AK 3L Glove with Primaloft fill and gave its removable liner a heater pocket. A Malden Mills Polartec fleece lining wicks moisture and prevents your hands from getting all clammy. Whether you're carrying your board up a ridgeline or making a drawn-out grab, Rodeo AK leather palms can stand up to the task. *Available for US Shipment Only

Bottom Line: Complement your riding skills with world-class weather protection—the Burton AK 3L Glove.

this is a really nice glove, for the man with a smaller hand...it is a tight fit with the insulated liner, so definately use the size guide on these. feature wise it's great, well made etc..but the size issue may be a factor for some. i'm 5 foot 8 1/2, and wear small tee's etc and im a large in this glove.

What happened to this glove?

The AK 3L glove used to be one of the best gloves on the market, and then for some reason Burton radically changed the fit of this glove and it is now borderline terrible. But it's not all bad. Pros : The shell is fantastic. Other than the gauntlet being too short for my liking (it's practically an under glove size), it's superbly constructed and of course the Gore-Tex makes it waterproof. The included power-stretch liner is also great. I use this glove for driving and to wear while putting on my boots, etc. in the parking lot. The styling of the newly designed glove is great also. The black and red work nicely together. Cons : The liner. The liner. The liner. I understand Burton's desire to make this glove a bit more dexterous, but the fit is so tight that it makes the glove too cold to wear in anything other than spring conditions, which is not what this glove is designed for. I wear a large glove, but even the XL is far too tight for me to wear comfortably. Any of the great features of this glove are completely outweighed by this major design flaw. Bottom line : skip this glove, and buy something else. If you must own Burton, try the AK under glove or the Pinnacle XCR.

The Only 3-Layer Tapped Glove?

By: www.mnttechnologies.com (1)

Top notch 3-layer Goretex XCR Stretch glove with fully taped seams; damn, that’s a lot! Turning the glove inside out shows the seam taping and it looks marvelous! Attention to detail is typical China made quality and everything looks bomb proof. Leather hands and back is supple and machine washable. The warmer fleece liner has primaloft backs, hot pocket, and tacky dots on the fingers to help with articulation. The thinner glove is nice too. Fits like a neoprene glove. We will see how well things hold up (leather, seam taping). Glove runs small compared to any other Burton glove due to the seam taping; so order 1 size larger.
