I am wondering about the colors in the green grass gridlock jacket. I can't tell if the dark color in the plaid is black or brown. Does anyone know?

I love this jacket! It hasn't been cold enough yet to wear them together,(and no snow yet) but I've worn the outer layer as a rain coat during a monsoon (stayed dry as a bone!) and have been wearing the inner around town to keep warm as it cools off. (it's waterproof too) I get loads of compliments on it. It is very comfortable and the pockets are totally useful. My only compliant would be it's weight... the outer layer is pretty heavy... it's canvas. I am pretty small,(5'1") so I notice it more. If you've gotta have snaps or buttons to close the outside then this prob isn't the one for you as the magnets wont do it with out the zipper's help. All in all, Awesome Jacket!
