Built with tons of fluffy insulation, the Cowgirl keeps your core toasty whether you wear it under a jacket or on its own. The fixed hood and ribbed hem also help to insulate by keeping wind out. Betty Rides made this vest with two front pockets to store your ski pass and iPod while you're riding.

I love, love, love my cowgirl vest. It's tough, warm and looks especially cool. The hood can be adjusted perfectly to keep out the breeze. I do wish the outer pockets were a tad larger but I love the way they snap shut so you don't loose stuff. For the first two weeks I kept discovering little features that make it even more special: a little lens cloth on a an elastic strap in an inner pocket, a logo button I can put on another garment and the "make love not war" embroidered on the inside. Quality is all over this great vest.

Not What I Was Expecting...

This vest (and other Betty Rides products) fit very small. I ordered an XS (my normal size) and could hardly zip it up. The arm holes are cut very shallow and expose too much shoulder. I also ordered a Small in this vest which gave a "boxy" fit due to the stiff fabric and looked very unflattering (no curves, if you know what I mean). Though, the styling of this vest is cute, it also doesn't provide a great deal of warmth. I will be returning both of the vests and will continue to search for something warm and stylish for the season.
