Black Diamond Kingpin Glove
The Black Diamond Kingpin Gloves are thin, dexterous, ultra-durable work gloves for skiers and patrollers who need equipment that lasts. Tough Pittards goatskin makes the Kingpin Gloves burly enough to stand up to the rigors of on-the-mountain work. Their Polartec ThermalPro insulation keeps your hands warm without inhibiting freedom of movement.
Bottom Line: The Black Diamond Kingpin Gloves take the beating without needing duct tape by mid season.

Great all around

These gloves are great for almost any day on mountain or backcountry. They are warm and come flexible so they dont require a lot of breaking in. I also like the tighter cuff so I can pull my jacket cuff over. I think that i wore these almost every day this last season except for a few extremely cold days when the patrol mitten was necessary. They come highly recommended by me as well as all of my friends who own a pair.

Full leather, not too warm, these are a working glove, for day to day work with your hands, or touring uphill. Not extremely warm for the cold days or the downhill.

thats a question better asked to the help team at backcountry, but honestly i thik you're out of luck, unless its covered by black diamonds warranty then u just have to buy a new pair of gloves; like we all have to when we lose one

Durable dexterity

My favorite ski glove for all but the coldest days. Tons and tons of dexterity and durable enough for the hardest of the hardcore. Easy on and off with a very simple and effective velcro closure system. Simple no frills design is perfect for a leather work type of ski glove. Dexterity is definitely the priority, not warmth. I generally have warm hands and this glove works for me all winter except for the absolute coldest days.
Awesome spring glove!

The Kingpin's have been my go to spring skiing gloves for the past couple seasons. I love the feel of leather on my ski poles, as well as on rock and simply just wearing around. They make for super work gloves and are really durable. I treat mine with water-proofing wax, which absorbs well after a few days. The Kingpin is one of three or four gloves in my quiver, and pretty much kicks ass.

It's a good glove with great grip and it's very comfortable. It isn't very good when temperatures get down to 15 degs or lower your fingertips feel like they're going to break off, but not bad for the price if your going to buy a glove spend a little more and get a lot better glove.

Great Glove

This is a great glove for those days where it is just below freezing (20-32). I use these for skiing when the cold is manageable and for ice climbing. I always take more than one set of gloves for ice climbing so these are great for the climb and i throw on some warmer gloves for the belay.
Nice but not super warm.

I bought these gloves basically as leather wear around town gloves and they are outstanding in that capacity. I would hesitate to wear them on the mountain or in the bc unless it was a pretty warm day. Maybe in the spring I'll bust them out since the leather is waterproof. I haven't made up my mind about the velcro closure: some days I like it, some days it's annoying.
Looked worn after 2 uses

Got the gloves and they looked awesome. Smooth full grain leather and insulated. However, the moment yu get them, make sure you treat them with something. I used them one day for snowmobiling and at the end of the day they were full of nicks and looking old. As a work glove I am somewhat disappointed because I can see these gloves will not last long.

Most gloves that I use get holes in them after one season of use. These have lasted the whole ski season (70+ days)and have not shown any signs off getting holes yet!
