Atomic Snoop Daddy Alpine Ski
Get off the tram, and get on the Atomic Snoop Daddy Alpine Skis before the wind blows you over. These all-mountain skis have the edge grip to get you over the windblown ice, the width to float you through the pow, and the stability to carve high-speed turns on the groomers. The Atomic Snoop Daddy is a one-ski quiver for big mountain skiers and freeriders—if you can only afford to have one ski in your quiver, the Snoop Daddy is for you. Atomic built the Snoop Daddy Skis with their lightweight synthetic Beta 4 platform. This dual-channel construction profile keeps swing weight low for quick turns while offering impressive lateral stiffness so that the Snoop Daddy Ski's won't wash out on hard turns. From fresh flakes to shining ice, the Snoop Daddy owns the hill.
Bottom Line: Ski the Atomic Snoop Daddy Skis all day and sip on gin and juice all night.

I set these up with Naxo NX21's for my touring setup. They for sure get the job done and provide a nice ski for the ride down. Overall though I would probably go for a dynafit on a lighter ski like the hollow glass Head 95's. The skis themselves have a nice design but are not gonna have that solid feel in a turn like a wood core. The base is a bit brittle, mine tore out a good chunk without a normal style of ding, it was more jagged so that is a bit crummy. Overall a pretty good ski, but I would probably not buy something like it again.

These skis are outstanding. There great in the powder, chop, crud, and hold a reliable edge on pack/icy surfaces.

Very satisfied with snoop daddy's. Got at the end of my season so just used 3 days at whistler but they loved the powder, crud, steeps, and felt reasonably stable at speed. I expect to get years of fun.

I just picked up a pair of Snoop Daddy
skis and tried them out in the 55o Utah
sun! It hadn't snowed for 2 days, after
a large Friday dump,so the mountain had both soft corn snow and some icy hard pack to deal with. These skis carved the hard pack very well considering their
88mm waist, but when I hit the corn or anything left of the powder dump these babys Rocked the Casbah! All in all these skis are very close to a one Quiver ski but will wear your quads out if you ski hard pack all day.

I just purchased the Snoop Daddy's and had my first chance to ride them today at Vail in over a foot of new powder. I bought the 185 Snoops knowing it would be a sturdy mid-fat ski that could replace my old 79cm carving skis and the Snoop did not disappoint. These are definitely hard charging skis that are a lot of fun and perform well in just about any snow condition. Floated easily on the pow pow in the China Bowl as the large sidecut made the turns smooth and easy. Powered right over any crud or tracked snow as the 126cm tip serves well here. One of the areas I was interested to see how the would perform was the bumps and reacted well. They definitely were not as peppy as my old carving skis but they handled the bumps well as the skis are pretty nimble and turn quickly when needed. And on the last run of the day headed down to the bar they bombed right down the groomers. The shovel was a bit fluttery but it really had no effect - these are fast skis that like to be run and react best to wider turns. Lastly, regardless of other others might say I like the graphics....yeeehaw.
The Snoop ended up being the perfect ski to ride Vail during a huge dumping. The stellar performance combined with a reasonable sale price I would highly recommend these skis.

I replaced my Atomic 9.22 skis last season 2006 with a new pair of 185cm Atomic Snoop Daddy's. I weigh 80kg and stand 186cm tall and wanted a ski to handle packed fields and for ski touring in the NZ mountains. They handle extremely well on packed snow and are out of this world in powder and crud.
Even touring with a pack on they float in the powder like skiing on a groomed slope. They are a fast pair of skis and easy to control.
I teamed them up with the latest Diamir Freeride Plus binding and have ended up with a super light weight, high performing touring combination.

I finally got the chance to ski my new snoops yesterday. I went up for this purpose alone, with a law school final the next day, because I just couldn't wait. My review is provisional, and comes with two caveats. First, the conditions were not ideal - there was over a foot of new snow, but it was not exactly light and got progressively heavier as the unfortunate freezing level rose above the base of the mountain. Two, I am 5 foot 7 and 130 pounds - so any commentary about float should be tempered by my small stature. Overall, I found the skis amazing. They are so light - and I mounted Silvretta Pure Freerides to them, so they would be wicked light. I indulged in a couple grabs with ease. They are also very quick, and demand an aggressive technique, which I love and expect from Atomic. On that note, carving the ski on groomed snow require a ton of forward pressure and direct side lean, which was different from my other skis but satisfying for what they are. The snoops also floated me like no other. In the medium-heavy snow I was skiing, I could just stand straight up and they would stay on top, which was luxurious. In looking forward to skiing them more, I am excited about skiing in some lighter snow, getting some bigger air, and trekking them a bit backcountry. I also want to check them out in the moguls, since they are so light and quick. I didn't get a sense for the flex of the ski, however, so I can't comment on that just yet. Overall, I am very pleased, but I think a better review is yet to come when I am able to unleash them on a proper day at the mountain....more to come.
