Armada JP vs Julien Signature Series Alpine Ski

Like to ski switch? Like all the time? Step onto the Armada JP vs. Julien Alpine Ski and take your bass-ackwards style out of bounds. This ski is the ultimate backcountry freestyle tool, designed from the ground up to perform when the only grooming for miles is provided by the shovel in your hands. JP Auclair and Julien Regnier insisted that this188cm ski possess a fat 103mm waist and minimal sidecut to create a super stable landing platform. This shape, along with a tail that sits 10mm higher than the tip, provides better control when you're rolling switch. Lightweight construction ensures you'll be able to float in the air and through the pow facing any direction you choose.

Bottom Line: Backward is the new forward with the Armada JP vs. Julien Alpine Ski.

A party on snow

Definitely the funnest ski i have ever ridden. Can ski them super fast or do pretty much anything else you want to do. Definitely the best feature is the lack of weight Armada somehow found how to cut half the weight out of a normal ski without sacrificing anything. This weight makes the ski seem about 10 cm shorter in the situation where that is nice. ie the air, tight situations, hiking around. All things considered I ride these skis everyday and they rip. You won't be disappointed.

Okay, you can read all you want about these skis, and then when you finally try them you realize that they are better than the reviews. These are some of the most fun fat skis I have ever had. I ski a pair of Volkl Gotamas with the Wood sidewall, and these weigh about a pound less per ski. they are so easy to land switch with, and so easy to ski switch. however if you get them, make sure to mount 2 up from the mark, its way easier. I tried both, and this way you get a more progressive tail, so that when you carve switch, the ski engages easier. Cheers.

I love my JP Juliens...definitely the most fun fat skis I've ever ridden. Beefy and tough enough to handle anything, but super lightweight and easy to throw around in the air, or when things get tight. Having the tail higher than the tip makes a huge difference landing stuff switch into any sort of soft snow. Get these skis for sure if you're looking for an awesome ski over 100mm in the waist.
