Armada AR6 Alpine Ski

The Armada AR6 alpine ski kills the park like school kids hopped-up on sugar and caffeine at recess. This versatile ski spreads plenty of carnage all over the rest of the mountain once you've pillaged the park. The AR6's tough wood core packs plenty of pop for launching out of the pipe and naturally butters everything, just like your fat uncle. Stomp your heart out on the AR6's stable underfoot platform while the burly heat-treated, 2.5 reinforced edges beat the hell out of rails. Reinforced with carbon fiber stringers for enhanced strength, the AR6's tails handle pop better than Michael Jackson. Armada's bombproof ABS construction stands up to tough use without shirking, and the easy-to-maintain S7 sintered base hauls ass with minimal manicuring.

Bottom Line: Take the AR6 out and find out why the biggest names in freestyle ride Armada.

amazing skis

These skis are sweet. You can ski the whole mountain with them and they work amazing. Powder is awesome to ski on these skis. You can carve better on these skis and you can do everything better on the slopes. There is no reason that you shouldn't buy these skis.

I recently picked up a pair of 161 ar6's, and they are super stable. best carving park ski i've ridden. stiffer than my Head mojo's but little heavier. I center mounted mine because that's the only way to go. gives you even weight front and back for big spins. overall great skis. awesome on rail and jumps.

I love my AR6's. This is the ski I'm on any day it's not a powder day. They're sweet in the park, but also a killer all mountain ski since they're 86mm underfoot. Stable at speed, and enough width underfoot to plow through a little crud. I mounted mine 1.5 cm back from the recommended line and it's perfect. The construction seems super bomber - vertical sidewalls and beefed up 2.5mm edges. I've spent some time in the park, and also nailed some pretty good rocks so far, with minimal damage to the base, and the edges are fine.

I can't wait

I have a pair of AR5's and would describe them similarly to the above paragraph; like little kids hopped up on something. Fast turns, crazy butters, easy switch riding. The only thing they can't do is crud, and the larger platform of the AR6 might be the solution. I need to get out on a pair of these.
