Arc'teryx Hercules Hooded Softshell Jacket - Women's

The Arc'teryx Women's Hercules Hooded Softshell Jacket includes a high-loft polyester interior for maximum warmth and an air-permeable shell for increased breathability. Basically, this Arc'teryx jacket helps you stay warm in frigid temps without causing you to overheat during aerobic activities. The Hercules Hooded Softshell Jacket's stretch-woven Polartec Power Shield shell fights off moisture and moves with your body as you hike, climb, or ski.

Bottom Line: Warm, but not too warm.

I love this jacket

Got my Hercules Hoody today and I am 100% pleased. Great middle layer for under my hard shell. Comfortable, soft, flattering lines- total package. Longer shirt tail back to keep kidneys warm- great for snowboarders. Got the Caramel at a great price- color is a warm buttery yellow/gold- not at all garish or showy. Plenty of room in the shoulders/arm pits for broad shoulder girls and not baggy in the waist/ hips. Order up if you're between sizes and want to make sure there's room for a thicker base or merino layer. Arms are adequately long- mine are ape like and the cuffs still brush my wrist. Best of all it's made in Canada, not a trans-pacific sweat shop and I didn't have to warm the planet by shipping a 3 pound coat 12,000 miles.

I'm tall and...IT FITS!

I love the fit of this jacket! I am 5'11 and was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on as arcteryx tends to run short. It has enough room for light layering too. Although I haven't had the chance to weather test it yet as it is August, I am sure that this won't disappoint. Very soft inside and the slate color is a deep graphite gray (almost black) with deep pink zippers (not red as pictured)...great go-with-everything color.
