Arc'teryx C40 Chalk Bag
Instead of making another basic chalk bag like everyone else, Arc'teryx used Schoeller dynamic softshell fabric to give the C40 a unique look and feel. This medium-size Arc'teryx chalk bag is just right for bouldering or sport climbing. The C40 Chalk Bag's tapered top allows you to get a quick dab of chalk when you're cruxing on your project. *Only available for US shipment.
Bottom Line: The Arc'teryx C40 Chalk Bag—unlike any other.

I love my chalk bag, its the perfect size for me. The ONLY complaint I have is that it won't close with a new ecoball inside.
Can you remove the belt to attach it to a harness?

Irritatingly enough, no. You'll have to cut one end off the strap to get it off.

Arc'teryx C40 - Great Bag

Arc'teryx C40 is a nice small chalk bag. This bag is perfect for a day of bouldering, or the gym. The stiff ring mouth is great, and provides easy access while climbing. The draw cord does a pretty good job of keeping chalk inside the bag, when it is not being used. There is even a spot to stash a small brush. The belt is very simple and easy to take on/off. If you have big hands, check out the C80.
expensive but worth it

used it for a few weekends before giving it to a friend, but i really liked the stiff ring on the top it makes gettin chalk nice and smooth. the belt is nice, a little thin but no complaints. a little expensive but i think it'll hold up for a long time to come.
It works

Its ok. Its nothing special. It would be nice if the bouldering strap was more easy to remove. Its a nice but small size Chalk bag. The opening seems to not want to close as well as I'd prefer and sometimes chalk puffs out.
nice

its a good bag. the lip is sort of stiff so the mouth of the bag is always open. the belt is simple but makes it easy to use if not harnessed up. perfect size for sport or some bouldering.
Good enough

All you need to climb. The only thing I didn't like was the belt strap. It would be nice if you had the option to put your own belt through the loop, but the belt that comes with it works fine.
Arc'teryx C40 - Well made & Durable

The Arc'teryx C40 is a great chalkbag that comes in a smaller size than the larger C80 model. Being a petite woman, this bag is a great size for me; it's perfect for all those afternoons bouldering. The waist belt is simple (no frills), but easy to adjust and unbuckle. I love the stiff mouth of the bag - a drawstring within the inner lip allows you to tightly close the bag when not in use, and that stiff, reinforced mouth allows for easy, one-handed access when you need it most. The Schoeller dynamic softshell fabric is durable and will certainly stand up to all bouldering abuse/ wear & tear out there on the rocks. A very nice bag!!
great bag

I really like this bag. The belt is a good one, easy to adjust and take on and off. The cinch works really well and keeps the chalk inside the bag. So when i get home and throw it in my room chalk does not get anywhere. sturdy and durable, will have it for a long long time to come. I love the pink color!
