A stowable storm hood fits over your helmet, so you don't have to choose between your hood and your brain bucket. arc'teryx fits pretty true to size. I would recommend looking at one of her coats now and whatever size it is should be a good size for you to get. I wear Medium in shirts and jackets. Small if I really want it fitted and arc'teryx I always go with a medium in them. I have tried on lots of their items and always medium is what fits.
