Arc'teryx Rho Lightweight Beanie

I have 2 of these beanies. The Arc'teryx Rho Lightweight Beanie is just what I was looking for. This beanie is a light weight beanie as advertised. It fits my head just right. It works well under a hooded jacket or bike helmet. This beanie would also makes a nice liner under a heavier beanie, a cap, or hat. It is light enough to sleep in while out on the trail, but warm enough to keep some of your body heat in. It works great on a shaved head. I couldn't recommend it for a girl unless she was bold, sorry girls. Toby in Alaska

Very good beanie for wearing under a helmet - lightweight, warm and comfortable. But found that after only two months it came apart at the seams - literally. I would not advise purchasing. If they could get the materials more durable it would be great.

This is a great item for those days when you still feel the slight chill, but it not as cold as to wear the Emissary (wich I also LOVE). Please note: the woodsmoke is more brown then it appears online.

I love this beanie, but know before you buy that it is microthin. It scrunches up in your pocket like an old tissue, but is surprisingly windproof and warm though obviously not meant for truly freezing weather. If you really like to have something on your head, but get hot and itchy in wool or fleece, give this a try.

This beanie is pretty sweet. I wouldn't wear it in cold weather but for chillin and climbing it's one sick piece of head gear - other than a helmet.

This is a very nice beanie. It is thin and fits snugly just like you could imagine from the picture. It's warm but obviously not as warm as a heavy fleece beanie. (previously my favorite beanie was Mountain Hardwear Micro dome, also an awesome beanie.) It fits perfect under a helmet and has a very low profile when worn alone. I have a shaved head and the Rho doesn't itch. I drive a jeep with the top off from early spring to late fall and this is going to be perfect for those cool windy drives in the early morning and late night. The only reason it's not getting a 5 is because it is a little pricey but that comes with the Arc'teryx name doesn't it? Otherwise it is a very good piece of gear. Yes it's lightweight just like advertised and just like I wanted.

Not very "beanie" like, but then again I have a very large noggin. This thing fit more like a swim cap- i.e. very tightly. The material is spandex like, and I could not tell that it was merino wool at all. I ended up returning...lots of other beanie hats out there may fit and work better for ya.

This is a great hat it is good under a helmet and almost perfect. But it is a little thin but otherwise it is great.

I wasn't thrilled with it and thought it to be very high priced for what it is. Not satisfied so I returned it. The return a breeze though so I have no complaints.
