Arc'teryx Theta SK Pant - Women's

The Arc'teryx Women's Theta SK Pant is so versatile, it's one of this outerwear innovator's best-selling pants. This suspender-style pant with a short bib stops snow from invading your personal space. Storm-ready Gore-Tex battles nasty weather and lets perspiration escape, guaranteeing warmth and dryness. Lengthy WaterTight sidezips won't allow moisture through and open wide to vent the excess heat generated during ascent. An internal gaiter grips to your boots to block snow and slush. Hardy materials and advanced construction have made this pant a favorite of dedicated skiers and snowboarders world wide. *Available for US shipment only.

Bottom Line: Exclusive Arc'teryx details make the Theta SK lightweight, durable, and ready for long days in deep snow.

Great from East to West

By:

I put 101 days on these pants last season. While, gloves, backpacks and skis fell apart these pants still look like new. I highly recommend these pants to anyone skiing in the rain in the East. For those of you that backcountry ski, these are very breathable and keep you feeling cool and dry while you're working for your turns.

Great Arc'teryx Ski Pants

By:
October 15, 2008

These are a great pair of ski pants once you get the right size. I wasn't really a fan of bibs, especially when having to go to the bathroom but this bib is the best one I've tried, especially for those deep powder days! I had some difficulty when I was trying to find out what size I was. As others have mentioned, these pants do run short and tight. I am 5'5", 130lbs and the medium was the length that fit me. There is definitely some extra room in the rear but I'd rather that than the small which was noticably shorter and tighter.

Great pants

By:
September 6, 2008

I had been eying these for a while and finally purchased them. I haven't used them for skiing yet - but I already love them and can't wait to try them out this winter. I'm 5.4, 120 lbs, and usually an XS in ski pants. My dilemma normally is that ski pants are too long, so when I read that these fall shorter I thought they might be perfect for me, and they ARE! I have a 30" inseam in pants, and that's what these seem to be, at least for the XS and S sizes. Since someone wrote that they run smaller, I bought an S, and they fit me perfectly. Someone wrote that the they could be a bit more flattering in the back, and I agree, but the pants are made for lots of room to move in the rear and knees, so in terms of functionality for backcountry skiing they should be perfect. Finally, I usually am not a fan of bibs and mostly ski without using the suspenders. These still work for that, they are snug in the waist so the elastic and belt keeps them up so you don't have to worry about the bathroom issue but can still have suspenders on deep powder days. Enjoy!

Do these make my butt look big?

By:

Thought I would score some huge points and buy these for my wife. Great-looking pant with great craftsmanship, but the sizing is way off from the chart and every other company out there. These run short and snug.

sweet.

Being female the only drawback with a bibs that to pee, it requires removing backpack, jacket etc... That said - this bib rocks. I love climbing in it because any shedding layers can simply be tucked into the bib for easy retrieval and use. They are comfy, roomy in the knees and back, and bomber.

I bought these pants two years ago then miss placed them in a move. Now I have to buy another pair because they are the most unbelievable pair of outdoor pants made! I have spent hours upon hours in the backcountry in these and have never felt wet. Worth every penny!

THEY FIT!

By:
May 10, 2006

Okay, so not many people will appreciate my dilemma, yet I must sing praise for my Arc'teryx Theta SK Pant (women’s)! The key to them fitting me was not only finding the smallest size they make, but in a tall length. I suppose the final challenge was that I was purchasing them at the end of the season when quantities are at the lowest. Having tried on the mid-rise bib style by the same manufacturer in a ski store, I knew we were close to finding the ones. Although it was not my first preference to purchase this style (high bibs), I am very pleased with the fit and the length; much more than expected. Although pricey, this is an investment in quality which will ensure I do not have to hunt down my size again nor will I leave the sledding trails with a wet backside.

great pants

By:

I'm really pleased with these pants for alpine skiing in extreme conditions, wind, and weather. I bought them one size larger than usual, so I can wear base layers of Capilene and fleece in bitter conditions, and tuck my top layers into the bibs before zipping up. It's nice to have a few extra inches in the waist for all that. The cuffs are great, and stay tight over my boot buckles, offering another line of defense against the cold and snow. The reinforced fabric keeps my butt, knees and legs dry. They're certainly more functional than fashionable, but they've passed every test so far.

Theta SK Pant by Arc'teryx

By:
April 7, 2005

There is very good reason the Theta SK Pant is Arc'teryx's best selling ski pant. I have nothing to complain about. I tried a couple other styles & kept returning them, some even more expensive, but was finally VERY PLEASED once trying on & skiing in my Theta SK Pant!!!

Theta SK Pant

By:
April 7, 2005

I'd wanted a pair of high quality, highly technical, Gore-Tex ski pants for some time and finally got them! There is simply nothing better out there, I looked everywhere. I tried a couple of other styles by Arc'teryx (& sent them back), but wasn't very happy until I tried on and went skiing in my Theta SK Pant. There is a very good reason that the Theta SK Pant is their best selling ski pant! Arc'teryx from Canada puts so much technology into their products. Top notch! Look no further!

Arcteryx Womens Ski Pants

By:
February 9, 2005

Excellent quality, as all Arcteryx clothing. But I had to return them. Arcteryx women's pants are too short. I am only 5ft 1. I expect pants to be too long, but they can be shortened. I hope Arcteryx can modify their pants to be longer. Also, they could be a bit more flattering in the back.
