These gloves are very medicore. I hate to right a bad review on Arcteryx but. These gloves fit way to small leather starts to peel of a little bit, always feel soaked inside. Plus these are made in China vs Canada

If you are a guy, get XXL if available!

By:

Everything you read about Arcteryx gloves being small is true. I mean cutting off the circulation in my fingers small. I thought that my hands were average size so XL should do it. I was wrong. Only there were no XXL's available. Oh well. Quality gloves though, wish i could own a pair.

Is Arc'teryx quality slipping ?

By:
January 15, 2008

does anyone else get the feeling that Arc'teryx gear is not as good as it used to be ? These gloves seemed sized too small, had uncomfortable seams and just did not look like they would last long, so I sent them for return. Pity as I have a ton of their other gear (hard and soft shells, harness) bought years ago that is bombproof. Made in Canada vs made in China ?

Awesome glove...

Definitely the best glove for alpine climbing I've worn. Wore them on a short trip to the Alps last summer. In normal summer Alpine conditions they weren't tested. Our last day started out bluebird, but we got hit by a summer storm - snow, hail and iced-up ropes to abseil on. I never had to take my gloves off to fiddle with gear, and my hands stayed reasonably comfortable in verging on winter conditions. One of my friends got frostnip, I just got slightly chilly hands. I've just bought a size small as the mediums I had stretched slightly on wearing and are a bit big now. The leather seemed to cope with climbing on rough rock very well, we'll see how it fares long term. Highly recommended so far.
