Alpina BC 200 Touring Ski Boot
Alpina BC 200 Touring Ski Boot
With its supportive plastic heel counter and super-stable NNN BC sole, the Alpina BC 200 Touring Ski Boot takes you anywhere from deep into the backcountry, to the track near your house. Warm Thinsulate insulation keeps you toes from complaining even on the chilliest tour, and the anatomic footbed holds your foot comfortably in place—eliminating cramping and fatigue. The BC 200's speed lacing system quickly and easily locks you in and maintains fit even after long days in the open country.
Bottom Line: Whether you're head to the backcountry or the skate track across town, Alpina's BC 200 Touring Boot keeps your feet happy.

I have x-c skiied for years. I ski hard and generally faster than most males my age. I ski about 3xs per week for about 2 hard hours each time. 50% of skiing is on groomed trail and 50% breaking trail in new snow. I want a solid boot that fits either. I presently have Salomon SNS profil bindings and Salomon boots that are wearing out. I usually use waxable skiis below 30 degrees, waxless above 30. What new boot do you suggest? I am willing to change bindings if necessry.

I am trying to replace my ski boots but keep finding that boots with this type of binding are really rigid - almost like wearing a downhill ski boot. Is this boot a bit more flexible especially around the ankles?

I wear an 11.5 in a running shoe and a 12 in boots. Is the 46 close enough to fit me? The sizing chart puts its somewhere in the middle.
