Ahnu Tilden Sandal - Women's

When your flimsy flip-flops won't hold up to your rocky climbing approach or your full-day summer schedule, pull on the Ahnu Women's Tilden Sandals. These sandals' wicking upper keeps your feet dry, and the closed toe prevents painful little-piggy-stubs. Slip your foot in and use the single-pull system to get a quick, comfy fit over your forefoot. The Tilden Sandals' foot strap keeps your heel snugly in place, and these Ahnu sandals' cushiony, supportive midsole feels comfy all day long. With a cross-directional lug pattern, the outsole on these sandals gives you traction on all sorts of terrain.

Bottom Line: Protect your toes and keep your feet cool in Ahnu's Tilden Sandals.

Definitely Versatile

The Tilden 2 is a great find. Very sharp looking, gets lots of attention and is cool and comfortable. I use it for walking, biking, in wet situations and for casual trips to town. I would like a little stiffer sole, but that won't detract from its overall usefulness.

Are these sandals comfortable to wear without socks? I plan on buying some sandals to wear at the lake and river, but don't know if they'll cause blisters or not. Thanks!

Everyone Comments

This is a shoe that everyone comments on, and it's comfortable and perfect for summer activities, I hate putting my feet in tennis shoes when it's so gorgeous outside. Worked great in water and at the gym, so I'm happy.

Good Fit....Good Looking

By:
June 28, 2008

Have not completely put shoe to test....no water activity as yet. However,on dry land, they are comfortable and easy to wear. I normally wear size 5-1/2. The size 6 in these fit my narrow feet nearly perfectly. Much easier to get into the similar Keens....and they are cuter!

Got Sand, Water, Rock?

By:
June 14, 2008

Got sand, water, rock? Then these might be the best shoe ever. I have such a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable for my narrow-ish feet. These are SO perfect. I've been wearing my loveable Columbia Nevis Sandal's every summer and will add these to my line-up of summer's greatest footwear. The Ahnu Tilden Sandal offer a little more options: arch support, soft heel bed (for my plantars facitis), comfortable for a quick trail hike, no noise walking (unlike flip-flops). I agree that they are sized accurately in length.

Does the Ahnu Tilden Sandal (NOT the Ahnu Tilden II sandal) have arch supports? Is the sole as thick and shock-absorbing in the Ahnu Tilden as it is in the Ahnu Tilden II?

A friend & I have compared Ahnu tilden water sandals 1 & 2 & yes, # 1 does have arch supports & the sole seems just as thick as # 2 sandal. we haven't figured out the big difference between the two yet except for the price...... hope this helps.

Great Buy

They fit great and were comfortable from the get go. I plan to wear them a lot this summer. I read a review on another site saying that the straps sometimes cut into the foot. I have not experienced this so far. (My feet are not very wide.) This probably depends on the width and size of your feet. And the size seems accurate.
